German E. Baltazar Reyes, PhD

German Baltazar Reyes, PhD is the founder of SentiCore AI and a highly accomplished Senior Machine Learning Engineer with extensive expertise at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and healthcare innovation. With a PhD in Engineering Sciences and a BS in Telecommunications and Electronic Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey, his background uniquely positions him to develop and deploy advanced AI solutions tailored for hospital environments.

Before launching SentiCore AI, German led cutting-edge AI projects at Johnson & Johnson, where he architected end-to-end generative AI and natural language processing systems, reducing operational inefficiencies in pharmacovigilance. His experience includes designing AI-powered patient analysis pipelines that improved detection of adverse events and uncovering product–patient relationships, resulting in measurable gains in efficiency and patient safety.

German also served as a professor at Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico City, where he taught digital systems and mentored students in applied electronics, circuit design, and programming, cultivating the next generation of engineers.

At SentiCore AI, German leverages this technical expertise to tackle a national healthcare challenge: preventing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) through real-time infection tracking, AI-driven risk analysis, and automated compliance reporting. His vision is to empower hospitals with intelligent, proactive tools that improve patient safety, reduce healthcare costs, and align with national health initiatives.
